JAMES W. WENTLING, FAIA
Jim Wentling founded JAMES WENTLING/ARCHITECT in 1987 as a design practice dedicated to serving small and medium size home builders. Since that time, the firm has assisted builders in over 20 states. Residential products designed by the firm have been popular with buyers and have been recognized with design awards at the local, regional and national level.
Jim has spoken and written extensively about residential design issues, and was the author of Designing a Place Called Home, published by Springer International and Housing by Lifestyle, published by McGraw-Hill. He has been a speaker at residential design conferences and universities throughout the US and in Canada, Europe, and Asia.
Active in professional societies, Jim served as a ULI Residential Council Vice President and as Chairman of the national AIA Housing Committee.
A native of Lancaster, PA Jim graduated from the University of Notre Dame and the University of San Diego School of Law and now maintains an office in Philadelphia, PA.
